Presentation Description: For the past two years Graduate International Connection has hosted a podcast to help incoming graduate students and their dependents hear from current students and staff about what transitioning to the university and community of Irvine is like and what campus resources are there to assist them throughout their journey. Come learn about our challenges and growth the last two years and see how podcasts may benefit your programs, regardless of area of expertise.
Learning Objectives:
Upon viewing my poster attendees will be able to learn the pros and cons of hosting a podcast for incoming & continuing students as well as dependents and family.
During the presentation, attendees will be able to see data collected over the past two years and how we've adapted the podcasts to this feedback from students.
During the presentation, attendees will learn about the different topics covered and how campus partners have come together to share their resources that will benefit the GIC community.
